While the event wasn’t mentioned in the original announcement for the DCA’s ongoing speaker series on technology and geopolitics, the announcement for Himes’ appearance says it comes from the Global Issues Speaker Series Committee.
“As we learn more and more about how emerging technologies are impacting us, Rep. Himes has agreed to provide his thoughts, on ‘What Is the Role of the Federal Government?'” the announcement said.
