Come join the Noroton Fire Department’s 23rd annual block party on Saturday, June 29, a great event for the entire family under the big tent at the corner of the Post Road and Nearwater Lane.

Kicking off at 5 p.m., there will be a wide variety of food and beverages as well as live entertainment featuring the renowned Highland Rovers and Jump the Gunn bands. Admission is free — hot dogs, beer, wine, soda and water will be available for purchase.
New to the Block Party this year will be fire truck rides from 5 to 7 p.m.
The party goes on till 12 midnight.
The drawing for the Boat Raffle will be at 10:30 p.m. (attendance at the drawing is not necessary to win). Raffle tickets are available at the firehouse and on line at NorotonFD.com.
The Grand prize is a 2019 Robalo R160 boat including motor and trailer. Additional prizes have generously been donated by local business including Darien Sport Shop, Palmer’s, Complete Automotive, The Goose, Mama Carmela’s, Papa Joe’s, Andrew Stefanou Salon and Spa, Darien Grille and Corbo’s Corner Deli.
The Noroton Fire Department, established in 1896, will use the proceeds from the Thursday’s Bingo and Saturday’s Block Party fundraisers for training and equipment necessary to ensure the high level of response and service that the Darien community depends on.
