The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk will hold its Golf Classic on Monday, May 22 at the Wee Burn Country Club in Darien.

This annual fundraiser supports over 7,000 resident animals at the Aquarium, marine and environmental science, and STEM education initiatives.

The event will celebrate the aquarium’s incredible achievements of the past year and will include lunch, a long drive pro to keep the competitive energy moving, a sunset dinner, exclusive animal encounters, and live music!

The aim of the aquarium is to inspire people of all ages to appreciate and protect the Long Island Sound ecosystem and the global environment through living exhibits, marine science and environmental education.

The aquarium is home to hundreds of species including seals, sharks, rays, jellies, turtles and meerkats. It offers sensory-enhanced 4D movies, in-person and virtual education programs for schools and families, and public cruises aboard its hybrid-electric research vessel.

The Maritime Aquarium is an accredited member of the Association of Zoos & Aquariums, and receives support from the State of Connecticut DECD’s Offices of Culture and Tourism.
