The Back-to-School Program helps eligible Darien school children get off to a good start with backpacks, school supplies and gift cards for shoes or sneakers.

Blue or black backpacks are especially wanted for the Darien Human Services Department back-to-school donation drive.
Human Services is in particular need of new, large backpacks in blue or black which can be purchased at Costco or any major retailer. Gift cards to Walmart and Kohl’s are also greatly appreciated.
The Back-to-School Program is one of the many services that Human Services provides to the residents of Darien.
If you’re interested in donating backpacks or gift cards please call the office at 203-656-7328 (Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) or stop by Human Services in Town Hall, Room 109.
