A Darien man told police that an 18-karat gold bracelet valued at $2,000 has disappeared from his home on Lynn Court.
The men’s gold-link chain bracelet was last seen in May 2016 before the 63-year-old man had an extended stay away from home.
After he returned later in the year, he noticed it missing in the first week of December. The matter was reported to police on Dec. 13.
He was sure that he left it on the fireplace mantle back in May, he said.
