Soulful, Southern-inspired food, music and family fun are happening at the 11th annual Blues Views & BBQ Festival this Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 1 and 2, at the Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts in downtown Westport.
Tickets and two-day passes are on sale now.
This year’s festival in Westport will feature 20 bands, including headlining performances on the Epstein Stage at the Levitt Pavilion — from funk powerhouses Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe and Grammy Award Winner Fantastic Negrito.
Blues, Views and BBQ is also known for introducing up and coming and local talent along with marquee headliners. In that same tradition, this year welcomes first time performers Carolyn Wonderland, Mingo Fishtrap, Cris Jacobs and Ruby Velle & Soulphonics.
Family Fun With the Music
Enjoy hours of family fun at the famous Imperial Jam with the bounce park, Touch a Truck, airbrush tattoos, pie and rib eating contests and the second stage showcasing local and family friendly musical entertainment all day long.
Don’t miss the KCBS BBQ competition, and CTBites returns with cooking demos providing culinary inspiration. There will be plenty of food to satisfy every appetite.
