Possession of Child Pornography 2019
Police: New Twist in the Case of Man Previously Charged with Drug Dealing: Child Porn Charges
|
Darien police have charged Andrew Creamer, 49, of Old Farm Road with possession of child pornography after looking at his computer in a drug-selling investigation in which he was charged back in November 2019. This account includes accusations from police not proven in court, along with information about the two new charges against Creamer:
Darien police computer forensics investigators found pornographic images of minors on Creamer’s personal computer in the earlier investigation. On Feb. 13 they received approval from a judge for an arrest warrant charging Creamer with third-degree possession of child pornography and with “importing child pornography.” About the Charges
Connecticut criminal statutes Section 53a-196c describes that charge (a felony) as “A person is guilty of importing child pornography when, with intent to promote child pornography, such person knowingly imports or causes to be imported into the state three or more visual depictions of child pornography of known content and character.”
