—a 48-year-old Waterbury man was pulled over on the southbound-traffic side of Interstate 95 by a Darien police officer The officer saw the vehicle had a tinted front windshield and no front license plate. A check of the driver’s registration showed arrest warrants had been filed against him: one for violation of probation, another for failure to appear in state Superior Court in Stamford related to a 2017 arrest on charges of selling illegal drugs, resisting arrest and assault on a police officer or first responder. He was released on $40,000 bond and later appeared in court. His next court date is March 20. — A 30-year-old Stamford woman turned herself in to police on Jan.
