A verbal altercation between a landlord and his tenant was videotaped and witnessed by a third party on April 7, resulting in an arrest on disorderly conduct and second-degree threatening charges, Darien police said.
Police gave this account of what happened, including accusations not proven in court:
The landlord and the tenant spoke in a shared common area for rented homes on Kelsey Street. Police were contacted at 5:05 p.m., Sunday, April 7, and the videotape was played for police officers.
Police went to the Kelsey Street home and arrested the 57-year-old man, who was released after paying 7% of a $10,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear April 25 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
