Renowned Expert on Roses to Speak May 23 in Greenwich

The Riverside Garden Club presents “Roses, Roses, Roses,” a talk on Tuesday morning, May 23, at Christ Church Greenwich by an expert on that flower, Stephen Scanniello.

Mr. Scanniello is currently the curator of the Peggy Rockefeller Rose Garden at the New York Botanical Garden, and Rosarian for the National Landmark Elizabeth Park Rose Garden in West Hartford, the oldest public rose garden in America.

Scanniello will speak starting at 10:45 a.m. at a meeting of the club that starts at 9:30 a.m. Christ Church Greenwich is located at 254 East Putnam Ave. in Greenwich.

Those non-members who are interested are invited to attend and join the discussion at no cost. To make a reservation, email riversidectgardenclub@gmail.com.
