Reminder: ‘Something Sweet’ Event on Saturday Let’s You Sample Desserts from All Over Darien

Darien Parks and Recreation would like to give a friendly reminder about Saturday’s upcoming event, “Something Sweet” with dessert samplings and free activities for kids.

The event will take place from 12 noon to 3 p.m. at the Mather Center (2 Renshaw Road). FREE activities for the kids including Valentine’s Day card decorating and face painting!

Something Sweet is FREE to attend, with “Dessert War” tickets available at the door for $5.00. Samples are guaranteed to the first 250 Dessert War participants.

The Something Sweet Dessert War features some of Darien’s finest to fulfill your weakness for some sweet indulgence. Dessert tastings from your local favorites: Chocolate Works, The Goose, Browne and Co., Rory’s and Michael Joseph’s!

A variety of Valentine’s Day gifting options will also be available.
