A 47-year-old Darien man ripped the necklace off a victim’s neck and flip several pieces of furniture during an angry argument at home on Friday night, Darien police said.
Police provided these further details about what happened, including accusations not proven in court:
Police were called to a home on Overbrook Lane at 11:39 p.m., where a complainant said that during an argument between the man and the victim, he ripped off the necklace and overturned the furniture.
When police spoke with the victim, she agreed with that account.
