When a 26-year-old Bronx woman was arrested trying to cash a forged check at a Darien bank last March, Darien police said, they confiscated her phone and looked through it. They found a video with what appeared to be a girl performing a sex act on an adult male.

Kashai Princes George, now 26, had been arrested on March 3 on charges of trying to cash a forged check, and also had tried to do so in Stamford and Greenwich. A teller in TD Bank at 55 Post Road recognized George when she tried to cash a check, and police were alerted.
George was arrested on charges related to identity theft and forgery. Police said she admitted that she had given the teller a false I.D.
Police detectives confiscated the phone she had with her because they determined it had been used to communicate when the crime was being committed. When they looked through it, they found the pornographic video.
Police notified the FBI about the video, in part because the woman lives in New York state. The FBI determined that George herself hadn’t taken the video, and it had been previously investigated by law enforcement authorities in Alabama. An arrest had been made in that case last March.
Darien police obtained an arrest warrant charging George with second-degree possession of child pornography. On Aug. 13, when George appeared in state Superior Court in Stamford on the previous charges, Darien police arrested her on the pornography charge.
She was unable to post the $100,000 bond and was taken to the same court the next day. Her bond is now set at $150,000, and she remains in jail, with her next court appearance scheduled for Sept. 27.
