The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that construction will be resuming on Route 15 (Merritt Parkway) in Stamford and New Canaan from the Greenwich town line just north of Exit 31, North Street, to the vicinity of Exit 37, Route 124 (South Avenue) beginning on Monday, April 17, 2017.
The project consists of 6.5 miles of roadway resurfacing, safety improvements, and landscaping enhancements. The work also includes rehabilitation of five historic bridges over Route 15.

Department of Transportation Project No. 0135-0270 was awarded to O&G Industries at a cost of $53,031,742.62 on July 23. 2013 and is scheduled to be completed by July, 2017.
LANE CLOSURE AND DETOUR INFO
The following nighttime periodic closures of the northbound and southbound on/off ramps at Exits 34, 35, 36, and 37 on or about Wednesday, April 26 for joint sealing in the City of Stamford and Town of New Canaan will be required. The ramps will not be closed simultaneously.

Ramp will be closed for a short duration between the hours of 8:00PM and 6:00AM, Wednesday, April 26. A complete detour will be installed to reroute traffic to Rte 15 SB to exit 33, to Den Rd, left on Bangall Rd, left on River Bank Rd , left on Roxbury Rd, left on Den Rd to 15 NB.
The Route 15 (Merritt Parkway) Northbound Exit 36 On Ramp:
Ramp will be closed for a short duration between the hours of 8:00PM and 6:00AM, Wednesday, April 26. A detour will be installed to reroute traffic to Tallmadge Hill Rd to South Ave to Merritt Parkway Route 15 Northbound.
The Route 15 (Merritt Parkway) Northbound Exit 36 Off Ramp:
Ramp will be closed for a short duration between the hours of 8:00PM and 6:00AM, Wednesday, April 26. A complete detour will be installed, Exit at 37 South Ave Rd. to Merritt Parkway Route 15 Southbound to Exit 36 Old Stamford Rd.
The Route 15 (Merritt Parkway) Northbound Exit 37 On Ramp:
Ramp will be closed for a short duration between the hours of 8:00PM and 6:00AM, Wednesday, April 26. A complete detour will be installed to reroute traffic to South Ave Rd Left on to Tallmadge Hill Rd right on Old Stamford Rd. Left on to Route 15 (Merritt Parkway NB).
The Route 15 (Merritt Parkway) Northbound Exit 37 Off Ramp:
Ramp will be closed for a short duration between the hours of 8:00PM and 6:00AM, Wednesday, April 26. A complete detour will be installed to reroute traffic to Exit 38 Northbound, right on New Canaan Ave and Left on to Route 15 (Merritt Parkway SB) to Exit 37.
The Route 15 (Merritt Parkway) Southbound Exit 35 Off Ramp:
Ramp will be closed for a short duration between the hours of 8:00PM and 6:00AM, Wednesday, April 26. A complete detour will be installed to reroute traffic to Rte 15 SB Exit 34 Long Ridge Rd, left on Long Ridge Rd to rte 15 NB to exit 35 High Ridge Rd.

Ramp will be closed for a short duration between the hours of 8:00PM and 6:00AM, Wednesday, April 26. A complete detour will be installed to reroute traffic to Rte 15 NB Exit 36 Old Stamford Rd, Left on Old Stamford Rd , left on Rte 15 SB.

Ramp will be closed for a short duration between the hours of 8:00PM and 6:00AM, Wednesday, April 26. A complete detour will be installed, Exit right at 35 off ramp Southbound, take right on High Ridge Rd and left on to Merritt Parkway Northbound and exit at 36 off ramp.
