He has long been lauded as one of the foremost rose experts in the U.S., having authored books, provided classes, conducted tours and served in judging various rose competitions.
Mr. Scanniello is currently the curator of the Peggy Rockefeller Rose Garden at the New York Botanical Garden, and Rosarian for the National Landmark Elizabeth Park Rose Garden in West Hartford, the oldest public rose garden in America.
Scanniello will speak starting at 10:45 a.m. at a meeting of the club that starts at 9:30 a.m. Christ Church Greenwich is located at 254 East Putnam Ave. in Greenwich.
