Edward M. King II a resident of Bradenton, FL and former longtime Darien resident passed away on Friday August 14, 2015. He was born on August 24, 1934 in New York City to the late Edward M. and Mary B King. He was 80.
Edward attended New York University where he graduated and received a B.S. degree in Marketing. He was then a Health Care Consultant. He was also involved with the Employee Assistance Professional Association.
Edward is survived by his wife Betty L. King, three sons Edward M. King III of Stamford, James B. King of Yelm, Wash. and Charles H. King of Windsor. He is also survived by five grandchildren Edward IV, Melissa, James II, Elizabeth and Sam King and one great grandchild James III.
A visitation will be held at the Lawrence Funeral Home 2119 Post Road, Darien on Tuesday Aug. 25, 2015 from 10 to 11 a.m., with a service to follow at 11 a.m. Burial will take place at Mather Cemetery in Darien.
