The Darien Community Association (DCA) is offering Bridge 6 classes starting in November. This class picks up where Bridge 5 left off.
This class will feature continued discussion of basic conventions, and declarer play and defense. Basic bidding and a good understanding of the game is required. Joan Bergen is the instructor.
Joan Bergen is a longtime local resident and Bridge Life Master who, after studying bridge intently for eight years, is driven to teach others.
Students will benefit from her enthusiasm and love for the game that she describes as both a great way to meet people, and a wonderful activity to keep the mind sharp.
If You’re Going …
- Bridge 6 will be held on Tuesday mornings from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. for five classes on Nov. 5, 12 and 19 (not the 26th), and Dec. 3 and 10.
- Course fees are $175, or $150 for DCA members. Prepayment required by noon on Friday, Nov. 1.
- Minimum and maximum enrollment applies.

Classes are held at the DCA at 274 Middlesex Road in Darien.
