Barbara Hoehn, a longtime resident of Darien, passed away on July 19. She was 94 years old.
She was born in New York City and was the daughter of the late Alfred and Florence Hoehn.
Barbara grew up in Scarsdale, NY and graduated from Scarsdale High School in 1941. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Connecticut College in 1945. Her passion was art and this passion was reflected in the many watercolors she painted and sketches she drew.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was pre-deceased by her brother, Alfred Hoehn, nephew, Warren Hoehn and niece, Alice deKozlowski. Barbara is survived by her niece, Janet Paschall (Edward), of Wilmington, DE, and Alice’s family: Steven and Jocelyn deKozlowski of Columbia, SC, Jeffrey deKozlowski of Raleigh, NC and Michael deKozlowski of Tega Cay, SC.
There will be a private family graveside service at Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, NY.
