Darien Health Department issued an announcement Tuesday reminding the public that its last flu clinic is today in Town hall, from 3 to 7 p.m. in Room 119.
The announcement also said:
“The vaccine is available at no cost for all part-time/full-time Town employees, library, Post 53 and volunteer firefighters.
“For the public, the cost of flu vaccine is $30, payable by check or cash or we accept ConnectiCare and Medicare Part B ONLY. Vaccine is preservative free & available to those over 3 years old.
“If you are unable to attend the flu clinic, you can make an appointment with our Public Health Nurse by utilizing the Health Department on-line scheduler.
“Be Safe, Vaccinate!”

- getting a flu shot from your doctor,
- you can schedule a flu shot online at Walgreens, 148 Heights Road, here; or
- call CVS in Darien at 203-655-6335 to get your flu shot there.
