Don’t miss an opportunity if you’re traveling during the upcoming February school break. Photos taken on trips may make for winning entries in the Travel category of the Pic Darien Smartphone Photo Contest.
The Darien Arts Center’s contest is accepting entries via its website through Feb. 27. Contestants may submit their smartphone photos for cash prizes in 5 categories: People/Pets, Travel, Nature, and — new this year — Food and Humor.
The contest is open to all; there are no age restrictions and contestants are not required to live in Darien.
All entries will be presented in a slideshow at a March 17 Award and Reveal Reception in the DAC Weatherstone Studio located at 2 Renshaw Road, behind Darien Town Hall.
