Teresa C. Cullinan, a Darien resident, died peacefully on Thursday, Jan. 14 at Yale New Haven Hospital. Her passing comes just 11 days after that of her husband, Joseph Cullinan.
Born in Stamford on Oct. 21, 1932, she was the daughter of Sabino and Teresa Conforti.
A gracious and elegant woman, Teresa will be greatly missed by her friends and family. Her protective presence, wise insight, and keen emotional intelligence were a gift to all those who loved her.
Teresa is survived by her children, Anne Tomaselli (Larry) and Meg Doyle, both of Norwalk; her stepchildren, Michael Cullinan (Cathy) of Plainsboro, NJ, Joseph Cullinan of Vershire, VT, Margaret Cullinan-Hill of New Canaan, Nicola Cullinan (Katie) of Bethel, and Maria Naughton (Bob) of New Canaan; her grandchildren, Susan, Laura, Michelle, Shane, Michael, Austin, Micayla, Katie, Elizabeth, Aidan, Alexandra, Siobhan, Bobby, Kathleen, and great-granddaughter, Marlina; and cherished nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph F. Cullinan, and her sister, Grace Budrawich.
