Billy & the Showmen deliver hard-driving R&B, Soul, and Funk from the 60’s and 70’s! The band’s repertoire includes the best of James Brown, Rick James, Percy Sledge, the Ohio Players, Blood, Sweat & Tears, Marvin Gaye, Wilson Pickett, Junior Welles, King Floyd, Average White Band, Tower of Power, Buddy Miles, Kool & the Gang, and Otis Redding. Otis & the Hurricanes Perform at the Levitt Pavilion

Take a bit of Delta blues, mix it with the spicy taste of New Orleans funk, shake it with some good time rock & roll and you’ve got the recipe for groovin’ with Otis & the Hurricanes. Their group is Fairfield Weekly’s Winner – 2008 in the  Blues/Blues Rock category. “Otis & the Hurricanes play New Orleans R&B and Meters-style funk, folded in with Delta-style blues. Val Ramos Flamenco Ensemble Performs at Westport’s Levitt Pavilion

The Val Ramos Flamenco Ensemble is one of the best flamenco fusion groups in the United States. The Pop Ups Perform Children-Friendly Act in Free Outdoor Concert in Westport

The Pop Ups are a collaboration between Brooklyn musicians Jason Rabinowitz and Jacob Stein, are performing Wednesday night in the first of this summer’s weekly Melissa & Doug Children’s Series of free outdoor music events for children at the Levitt Pavilion in Westport. The Pop Ups have been setting the standard for children’s music since 2010. A celebration of making, building, and learning, their album ‘Appetite for Construction’ received a 2014 Grammy nomination for Best Children’s Album, alongside a National Parenting Publications Award, Parents’ Choice Award and praise from NPR’s All Things Considered, The Huffington Post, and USA Today among others. The boys have toured with Yo Gabba Gabba Live and continue to perform their rock and roll puppet musical live show to sold out audiences across the U.S. 2015 saw the launch of The Pop Ups video series, their newest album ‘Great Pretenders Club,’ and the companion 30 minute video piece, ‘The Pop Ups Great Pretenders Club Special’ available exclusively on Amazon. And in May of 2018, they just had an album release party at Brooklyn Bowl for their latest creation, “Giants of Science” — “electronically flavored pop” – The New York Times

Melissa Etheridge stormed onto the American rock scene in 1988 with the release of her critically acclaimed self-titled debut album, which led to an appearance on the 1989 Grammy Awards show. For several years, her popularity grew around such memorable originals as “Bring Me Some Water,” “No Souvenirs” and “Ain’t It Heavy,” for which she won a Grammy in 1992. Etheridge hit her commercial and artistic stride with her fourth album, Yes I Am (1993).
