Man, 58, Working in Back Yard Bitten by Resident’s Dog
|
A 58-year-old man working in the back yard of a Plymouth Road home was bitten by a resident’s dog after someone let the dog out, police said. (Plymouth Road is shown here on a map — which does not point to the exact location of the incident.)
Darien police gave this account of the matter (with accusations not proven in court):
Police got a fax from a Mount Kisco, NY physician’s office about the incident at about 1:15 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3. Police then spoke to the victim by phone. The Lagrangeville, NY man said he didn’t think of calling police about the incident himself.
