Promotions Announced for Three Members of the Darien Police Force

Three sworn members of the Darien police force are being promoted — one to captain, another to lieutenant and a third to sergeant. Police Chief Jeremiah Marron Jr. announced the promotions Monday afternoon. “On behalf of the Darien Police Commission, I am very pleased to announce the following promotions of sworn staff,” Marron wrote. Lt. Andrew Mastroianni to the rank of captain. Mastroianni has been with the Department for 19 years and currently serves in the Training Division.
