Search and Arrest by Police and Federal Drug Agents Monday Morning at Home on Pine Brook Lane

A home on Pine Brook Lane (a street off of Old Kings Highway North) was searched and an arrest on a warrant was made early Monday morning in a joint operation by area police agencies and the federal Drug Enforcement Administration, Darien police announced.

The announcement didn’t say who was arrested or give many details, “given the sensitivity and ongoing nature of the investigation,” but it said the operation was “successful.”

The police announcement also said:

Police from Norwalk and Stamford departments also participated in the search and arrest.

“The culmination of an extensive and collaborative investigation targeted a residence on Pine Brook Lane,” the police announcement said. “It is imperative to assure the public that there is no imminent danger or threat posed to the community. […] Any inquires or requests for additional information should be directed to the DEA office situated in Bridgeport.”
