Richard Charles Coyle, age 55, of Darien, CT, died on Friday, October 30, 2015 with his family at his side. He is now at peace in the Lord’s hands.

Richard Coyle, 55, passed away on Friday. Visitation will be on Monday; the funeral, Tuesday.

He leaves his wife, Karen, and four children, Danny, Brian, Emily and Aidan. Rich also leaves his parents, Patrick and Marge, as well as siblings, Tom, Juliana and Maureen, and is predeceased by his brother, Patrick. He leaves behind 24 nieces and nephews, three great-nephews and their loving families.

Richard was born in Douglaston, Queens. He graduated from Archbishop Malloy High School, Boston College and NYU Business School.

Rich began his career at J.P. Morgan in fixed income sales, was an SVP at the Stanford Research Group, Managing Director at Schwab Research Group and then became a managing director of institutional sales with the Washington Group at Potomac Research. Rich truly loved his job and loved working with all of his colleagues and clients.

His other loves were being involved in his children’s sporting events, family vacations at the beach and having some laughs with his many wonderful friends.

Most of all, Rich was blessed with a wonderful sense of humor which he shared joyfully with everyone around him, with a twinkle in his eye and a good word or story to share. Rich was an avid BC sports fan and loved working in the yard, especially blowing the leaves.

Rich was a pillar of strength, and his dedication to his family, his friends and his faith was an inspiration. We will miss him.

Visitation will be this Monday, Nov. 2, 2015 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Rd, Darien, CT 06820.

Rich’s life will be celebrated with a Mass at St. Thomas More Catholic Church
on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015 at 10:30 a.m.
