Buses will be substituted for trains for late night service on Friday nights and all Saturdays and Sundays on April 28 to May 1 and from May 5 through May 7.

Switching to buses will allow Metro-North crews to do further work on the tracks, the rail service announced. Service to and from all four stations on the branch will be affected: Glenbrook, Springdale, Talmadge Hill and New Canaan stations.

These are the weekends that buses will substitute for trains. They’ll be leaving 20 minutes earlier than the trains are scheduled to leave:

  • March 24, 25 & 26
  • April 21, 22 & 23
  • April 28, 29 & 30
  • May 5, 6 & 7
