Sometime between last Thursday night and Friday morning a motorcycle locked with a chain outside an apartment building at 397 Post Road was stolen.
Darien police were told the 2007 Suzuki ERZ400 was locked with the chain between two poles at about 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, but when the owner went back at 5:30 a.m. the following day, there was no sign of the vehicle. Whether or not the chain was cut, there weren’t even any debris left behind.
The motorcycle, reported stolen on Friday, is valued at $3,500.
The apartment building at 397 Post Road is located across the street from Matsuri restaurant.
