Martha A. Kosinski of Wilton, CT died November 18, 2015 at her home at Brookdale Assisted Living, after a brief illness. She was 83.

Prior to living in Wilton, Martha and her family lived in Darien for over 30 years, Westport, CT for 10 years and Stratford, CT for 13 years.

Daughter of the late Oscar Moody and Helen Fry, she was born Nov. 6, 1932 and was raised in Stamford. Martha graduated from Stamford High School.

On Aug. 10, 1957, Martha married her husband, Ted Kosinski, who predeceased her. They raised three children in Darien and Westport.

She worked at Stamford Hospital and then joined the accounting firm of Walter & Berlingo in Stamford. Martha later worked as the office manager at the family’s firm, Recon Associates, in Norwalk.

She enjoyed her family, grandkids, baking, the beach and traveling as well as all of her dogs.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Kosinski and her fiancé Bob Fey of Newtown Square, PA; sons, Kenneth Kosinski and his wife Karen of Westport, and Robert Kosinski and his wife Janice of New Canaan; five grandchildren Nicole, Christopher, Danielle, Greer, and Chase; her sister Barbara (Jack) Weaver of Hilton Head, SC, brother Bruce (Carol) Moody of Tolland, CT, brother Richard (Christine) Moody of Fairfax, VA and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien on Friday, Nov. 27, 2015 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12 noon at St. John Roman Catholic Church, 1986 Post Road, Darien. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, Darien.
