Mark Alan Yarish of Darien passed away peacefully Feb. 7, 2022, with his wife by his side. He was 56.
Mark Yarish, 56, passed away Feb. 7. His funeral and a reception will be held on Friday, Feb. 18.
Mark was born on Sept. 15,1965, in Norwalk to Sigmond and Elaine (Hall) Yarish. He attended Darien High School and graduated in 1984, where he was a member of the Wrestling team.
He was passionate about sports and animals. He loved his family and enjoyed the special times fishing with his father, brothers and children.
Mark will forever be remembered for his beautiful smile and infectious laugh, and enjoyed being the life of the party. He will be greatly missed by all.
In addition to his mother and father, Mark is survived by his wife of 22 years, Lauren (Franchella); his children, Todd, Brandon, Hunter and Nicole. He also leaves behind his brothers and their families: Jim and Wendy Yarish of Darien; Ron and Laura Yarish, and his nephews, Jake, and Chase, of Westport; as well as his cherished grandson, Colton. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Feb. 18 at Saint John Roman Catholic Church, 1986 Post Road. A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.
