“From the very first day that I decided to run for office until now, I have been motivated by one central goal – to speak with as many residents of Darien, Rowayton, and Norwalk as possible about the issues that matter most to them,” Klein said Thursday.

“I use the opportunities to hear how people think their representation could work most effectively for them in Hartford.”
McIlmurray Endorsement
Last week, Klein’s canvassing brought him to the door of Spencer McIlmurray, former Republican Town Committee member and Board of Selectman candidate.

“Randy won my support through showing that he is dedicated to putting in the effort necessary to not only meet as many voters as possible, but also use the opportunity to gain a better understanding of the unique needs of all members of the constituency,” McIlmurray said.
“The reception at the doors has been great,” said Klein. “People appreciate someone coming to their door and genuinely listening to their concerns. I’ve had hundreds of informative conversations that will definitely influence how I will represent this district if given the opportunity. It has been an absolute pleasure getting to know so many different people with such different stories that brought them to this district. I would be honored to represent this district in Hartford.”
Klein is running in the 141st assembly district which covers Darien, Rowayton, and a part of Norwalk.
