Can you and your child figure out how to soothe the Yeti back to sleep? Darien Library’s Escape Room game for families is back this Wednesday through Friday, with six sessions to choose from.
This 30-minute game is appropriate for families with children aged 6 years old and older. One session each day is appropriate for families with children aged 8 and above. You’ll need to register first.
In this game, everyone is excited to celebrate the holidays in a winter wonderland until all the action wakes up the slumbering Yeti.
When he triggers an avalanche that snows our guests into the library, it is up to you and your team members to find the pieces to an ancient recipe for hot cocoa that will soothe the Yeti back to sleep — and let you escape.
Our “Escape the Yeti” series challenges children and families to use both teamwork and problem solving skills to “escape the room” within 30 minutes.
If You’re Going …
Register each person who plans to participate in this thrilling ‘Escape the Room’ program. Space is limited due to the collaborative nature of this program.
Only those registered will be able to join the game.
Participants should arrive no later than 10 minutes before the program starts so they can receive the game instructions.
During our Family Game Nights, enjoy a slice of pizza and relax while you wait for your start time.
