Your Guide to Studying for Finals at Darien Library

We’re here with a friendly reminder that as we approach final exams for Darien High School, we expect a high volume of students at the Library starting at the end of May and continuing through early June.

Here’s a Darien Library brochure for students with tips on how to get the most out of the library while studying (pro tip: Be super nice to the snack fairy.):

More students also means more cars in the parking lot, study room appointments in high demand, and elevated noise levels throughout the building due to collaborative study.

We’ll try our best to make this as stress-free as possible, so feel free to ask us if you need anything!

As always, earplugs will be available at the Reference Desk upon request.

If you don’t feel like braving the hoards of students, have no fear — you can borrow items without coming to the Library! Check out our digital collection which includes books, movies, audiobooks, TV shows, magazines, and comics.

Need to do research? Search for articles using our databases from the comfort of home.

We will be open late on Wednesday and Thursday, June 7 and 8, and Monday June 12 until 10 p.m. See you then!

Editor’s note: This article originally was published June 1. Images from the library’s new brochure for students was added June 6, and the time stamp for the article changed to move the link to the article back to the home page.
