an announcement from the Corbin District website

The Dooh Dahs band Darien Summer Nights Tilly PondThe band originally got together in 2011 at a large jam session comprised of real estate professionals who have common musical interests.

Their friendships blossomed into the full band (mostly real estate professionals) who channel the music of the Grateful Dead.

The Doo Dahs have been featured at various fundraising events and have played such venues as Industry City, Red Lion, Barr 55 and Irving Plaza. This will be their first year performing at Darien Summer Nights.

The Corbin District and Darien Parks and Recreation are sponsoring the Summer 2024 concerts at Tilley Pond Park.

A few food trucks will be on hand to make it easy to enjoy the music and have dinner.

All ages are welcome.

If You’re Going …

The concerts have been held at Grove Street Plaza, but this summer the park is the venue, so bring beach chairs and blankets. The music — from live bands — is from 6 to 9 p.m. (expect a break or two), and it’s free.

The event is free of charge. You don’t even have to register. Just show up with your beach chairs and blankets.

Here’s information on the next (and final) concert in the series at Tilley Pond Park.
