Dennis DeYoung Performs the Music of Styx Thursday Night at the Levitt Pavilion

Dennis DeYoung will perform at 8 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 15 in an outdoor concert at the Levitt Pavilion for Performing Arts in downtown Westport.

The Levitt is charging $50 and $55 for tickets to this concert, and more for the “premium” section (where a chair is provided). The concert is a benefit for the organization: Money raised will help pay for the Levitt’s free concerts.

In addition to being one of the original members of Styx, and having a very long run with the band, DeYoung is a singer, songwriter, keyboardist, composer and record producer with a career spanning over 40 years.

Benefactor tickets include a pre-concert cocktail party on the Terrace – Limited availability.

Note: For this ticketed BENEFIT event, seating is general admission within each section except where otherwise noted. Lawn tickets are BYO-Lawn Chair and no large coolers or tables will be allowed to for the comfort and safety of all guests. On site concession and cash bar will be open (21+ photo ID required for wine/beer). This is a rain-or-shine event.

For this ticketed benefit event, NO LARGE coolers will be permitted. Refreshments will be available for purchase at the concession, including waters and soft drinks; beer/wine will be sold on site – you must be 21+ with PHOTO ID to purchase alcohol. As always, the Levitt Pavilion is a non-smoking venue and there are no pets allowed.

Note: Tickets are required for this fundraising concert and event. At this time, we cannot guarantee that tickets will be available for walk-up purchase the day of the event, so it is best to book in advance!

Proceeds from this special event help to underwrite the Levitt Pavilion’s Summer Season featuring our signature “50 FREE Nights under the Stars”!

About Levitt Pavilion’s Concerts

The Levitt Pavilion offers about 50 outdoor concerts each summer at its outdoor venue along the Saugatuck River in downtown Westport.

Here’s a note from the Levitt describing some of their rules:

—The lawn and the ice cream concession are open to the public one hour before show-time.

—Facility is closed to public during load-in and sound-check.

—Picnics are welcome.

—The Levitt Pavilion and its perimeter is a non-smoking area.

—Pets are not allowed.

In case of inclement weather, check the Levitt website or call our concert hotline (203-221-2153) at or after 4:30 p.m. on the day of the show for a location status update. While we have a nearby rain location for free shows, we always do our best to stay outside shower or shine!
