Throughout June, Darien Library celebrates LGBTQ Pride Month through film, art, workshops, and, you guessed it, a good book.

Did you know LGBTQ Pride Month is celebrated each year in June to commemorate the 1969 Stonewall riots in Manhattan?

Pride in the Park

At Mathews Park

Join your librarians at the Pride in the Park festival at Mathews Park in Norwalk. We will have a tent setup for you to relax, visit with staff, pick up a new book, make a craft, and eat Skittles.

Transgender 101

Join us for an informal, comfortable presentation on what it means to be transgender. Learn from our presenter’s personal journey, including her victories and hardships.
