The Stamford Center for the Arts Palace Theatre invites golfers of all levels to its Charity Golf Outing on Monday, Aug. 19, at the Rolling Hills Country Club in Wilton for a day of golf, catered meals and fundraising
— an announcement from the Stamford Center for the Arts
What You Get By Going
Golf will be played in a shamble format and will be bookended by a delicious lunch and dinner.
A $10,000 hole-in-one contest sponsored by BMW of Darien, a shamble format, silent auction, lunch, and dinner are just a few highlights of this day of fun, philanthropy, and community spirit.
“Our first annual outing offers an alternative event to get involved,” said President & CEO, Michael Moran, who hopes you’ll “swing into action for a cause that drives change. Join us for a round that makes a difference!”
What the Money Is Raised For
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Stamford Center for the Arts/Palace Theatre, helping it to provide a wide range of performing arts and arts education to the community, maintain our historic 97-year-old Thomas Lamb-designed theatre, and fulfill its mission to entertain, educate, and enrich Stamford and Fairfield County. For more information about the Palace, visit its website.
The organization is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to entertain, educate, and enrich the diverse population of Stamford and Fairfield County — and its arts education programs.
You can register for the golf outing here. Participation in golf costs $450 per person. Dinner Guests, $150.
