A 52-year-old woman on Hillside Avenue was charged with disorderly conduct and given a misdemeanor summons after a 21-year-old woman in the house told police the older woman slapped her across the face.
The two were having an argument at about 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 27, about the older woman not being invited to Easter dinner at the house of the grandmother of the younger woman.
The younger woman also said the older one was trying to take away her cell phone. The older woman confirmed what the younger woman said about the subject of the argument but denied that she’d slapped the younger woman.
Police said the younger woman had some redness on the left side of her face, around her cheek. She said she didn’t need medical attention for it.
The older woman was told to appear Monday, March 28 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
