Have you taken a great photo of your pet with your phone? Maybe a great selfie? Or perhaps a fabulous vacation shot? Pic Darien, the Darien Art Center’s smartphone photo contest open to all ages, is receiving submissions online at darienarts.org through April 4.
Contestants may enter as a student for $5, or as an adult for $10, in 7 categories: My Darien, Family & Friends, Landscapes/Nature, Travel, Pets, Abstract or Photobomb/Selfie. 1st place & honorable mention prizes will be awarded in all categories and up to 20 photo submissions are allowed per person.
All entries will be presented in a slideshow on June 25th at Darien’s Got Talent, and at an April 8th Award and Reveal Reception at the DAC located at 2 Renshaw Road, behind the Darien Town Hall.
