It will be a week of tricks and treats as Stepping Stones BOO-seum for Children welcomes all into its cauldron of play.

During Halloween Tricks and Treat Week from Tuesday, Oct. 23 to Wednesday, Oct. 31, enjoy daily costume catwalks, creature features, face painting, hat sorting, magic tricks, make-believe monsters, mask making, pumpkin decorating, silly sensory science lab experiments and BooZoo’s Great Pumpkin parades.

Highlights of Tricks and Treats Week include Frankenstein Friday on Oct. 26 to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the publishing of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein,  Monster Mash on Saturday, Oct. 27 from 4 to 8 p.m. and Make Your Own Fun Days from Oct. 30 to 31.

Monster Mash is a spellbinding evening with not-so-scary, costumed, family fun. Guests can meander through the museum to play ghoulish games like Eyeball Toss or Halloween BINGO, use catapults to launch flies into our creepy spider web in KLUTZ Amazingly Immature, step into our BOO-tique to create monster-themed self-portraits in Express Yourself, show off their mind tricks as they play the Pumpkin Face Concentration memory game in the Light Gallery, or strut their costumed stuff as they masquerade for the camera at our Photo Station.

Our friendly ghosts and goblins will cap off this BOO-tiful evening at our Boo Bash as they boogie to the SPOOK-tacular tunes played by our DJ.

Don’t fret about bringing the littlest visitors. There will be age-appropriate activities for all visitors, so that the whole family can enjoy this costume party. Dinner will be available in the Stepping Stones Cafe.

Tickets for Monster Mash cost $10 per person for museum members and $15 per person for non-members.  Children under the age of one will be admitted for free. However, you can take advantage of our Early Bird Discount and receive $2 off each ticket before Friday, Oct. 12.

Monster Mash tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.  Registration is required.  Space is limited and this event is very popular, so register early.  Call 203 899 0606, ext. 247, or visit this Stepping Stones Museum Web page.
