Save your pennies, check under the couch pillows for nickels and dimes and under the car seats for quarters — Darien stores have “Indoor Sidewalk Sales” for the week beginning Friday, Jan. 29.
Actually, the found change may pay for part of the tax, but the point is that stores in town (29 of them so far, and here’s a list) will be offering sales to shoppers from Jan. 29 to Feb. 6, and you don’t have to shop on a chilly sidewalk to get the sale items.
