“Marijuana- Just the Facts” will be a discussion tonight of the facts about marijuana, led by Kevin Hill, MD. Dr. Hill is a marijuana expert from Harvard, and author of the book Marijuana: The Unbiased Truth About the World’s Most Popular Weed.
The organizers’ goal is to provide knowledge that will help you have informed conversations about marijuana. The event is co-hosted by New Canaan Parent Support Group and New Canaan Cares.
Joining Kevin in a panel discussion will be John Douglas, MD, MBA of Silver Hill, Amy McDonnell, BSW of Aware Recovery Care, and John Hamilton, LCSW, LADC of Mountainside.
The event takes place from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 8 at Saxe Middle school, 468 South Avenue in New Canaan.
There will be plenty of time for Q&A. Elm Street Books will be selling copies of Dr. Hill’s book before and after the event.
