Fun for kids, a lecture on Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony (among other works), musical performances from Darien High School Class of 1973 (and their artwork), a cooking class on plant-based eating are some of the things going on at Darien Library in the coming week:

45th Reunion Class Gift: Music

  • The Darien High School Class of 1973 invites you to an afternoon of “brief but spectacular performances.” Enjoy vocal performances and pieces played on piano, French horn, flute, and acoustic guitar. The show is on Saturday, Aug. 4 at 3 p.m.
  • The reception for their Harvest art exhibit is on Friday, Aug. 3 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
