The Project Search Training Program, is a partnership between the Darien YMCA, the Connecticut Department of Developmental Services and Abilis, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides services for individuals with special needs and their families in lower Fairfield County. Project Search is a nine-month internship for young adults 18 to 30 years old with developmental disabilities. It is targeted for individuals whose goal is competitive employment.
