Dr. Robert Augustus Chandler Jr., 93, of Old Saybrook and Ridgefield passed away peacefully on Thursday, Feb. 1, surrounded by his loving family. Bob or “Doc” as he was lovingly referred to, was born on Dec. 22, 1930 in New London. He was the son of the late Dr. Robert A. Chandler Sr. and Marjorie Alberta Hills Chandler.
