Laura Thoren Podesta, a 2006 Darien High School graduate and now a CBS News correspondent, will speak at the next Darien Community Association Women’s Luncheon. The title of her talk: “Embracing Rejection — Lessons on the word ‘No.’”

The Darien Community Association Women’s Luncheons will feature “Darien Wellness Opportunities – Discover exciting and innovative places to go in our own town!” for their luncheon on Tuesday, Jan. 7 at 12:15 p.m. at the DCA. — an announcement from the Darien Community Association

This luncheon will have three presenters. Nancy Joyce joins us from Inner Light Wellness in Darien to share her insights and thoughts on being a young wellness entrepreneur in town. She will discuss how the practice of yoga, combined with infrared light technology (infrared saunas) can help you set yourself up for a relaxing and healthy year ahead.
