Tools Worth $9,000 Reported Stolen at Heights Road Construction Site

Tools valued at about $9,000 were reported stolen on Monday, Aug. 19, from the construction site near Palmers Market, Darien police said. The theft was believed to have occurred between 3 and 6 p.m., two days before, on Saturday, Aug. 17, at the A. Papajohn Company construction site, police said. Police gave the address of the site as 340 Heights Road, the location of Palmers Market.

Two males stole meat items priced at a total of $253.25 from Stop & Shop on Monday evening, June 24, a store detective told police. Police gave this further account:

A video surveillance recording showed one of the men who took the meat wore a black and white baseball cap; the other was dressed entirely in black. The store is located in the Old Kings Market shopping plaza, formerly Goodwives Shopping Center.
