A 34-year-old Darien woman was arrested Sunday after a fight with a man who received bites and scratches, police said. Police, who were called to the scene at 7:21 p.m., didn’t say in a Monday news release where the fight took place, but said the fight resulted from an argument between the two concerning phone and text messages between the Darien woman and another person, a co-worker of hers. Darien police gave this further information about the matter (none of the accusations are proven in court):

The fight was only between the two people. When police arrived at the scene, the man told them about the cause and said that the argument resulted in the Darien woman physically attacking him. Police saw the scratches and bite marks he said were made by the Darien woman.
