Police: Additional Officers Will Be Watching for Speeding and Aggressive Driving This Summer

The Darien Police Department, with help from the state Department of Transportation, is stepping up enforcement efforts this summeer against speeding and aggressive driving. — an announcement from Darien Police Department
“On a regular basis throughout the entire summer, numerous additional officers will be working throughout the day and evening for the purpose of speeding enforcement and to target other associated motor vehicle violations that are known to cause motor vehicle accidents and endanger the public,” the announcement said. “As a reminder we ask the motoring public to always drive safely, cautiously, and to obey all traffic laws. Thank you.”
