The department also announced work on
The original schedule was issued in early July. Here’s the new list (minus paving that was newly scheduled from Thursday through Monday — the revised list is on the town government website, here). The paragraph at the bottom of the announcement is republished at the bottom of this article because it might be easier to read.
The announcement says that bad weather may change the paving dates.

• Long Neck Point Road from the end of that road to Pear Tree Point Road — Aug. 11 to 18

Darienite.com has edited the image to show only upcoming paving times.
The DPW note at the bottom of the image says:
Preparatory work will precede paving on all of the above roads. Dates listed above include milling and paving. Road surfaces will have raised structures during these dates.
There may be inactivity on some roads between milling and paving. Please avoid these roads if possible during these times or use extra caution if you must travel on these roads.

You may not need to use an alternate route. Police officer or someone from the paving crew or another sign should direct you.
The above schedule is based on favorable weather conditions. Emergency access will be available at all times.
Town of Darien police officers will be present to direct traffic and assist area residents during construction.
Driveway access will be limited during paving operations, however, no single driveway should be closed for more than an hour.
On street parking will be suspended during paving operations. Minor traffic delays are likely. Please plan your travels accordingly.
Please call the Department of Public Works at 656-7346 for further information.
